What an incredible night! On Wednesday, we officially launched the Social Novel Friends Book Club in Redondo Beach—and it was nothing short of magical.

Together with Stephanie from The Fleur Romantic Bus Novel, Ellie, and myself, Jenny Barker, we welcomed an epic group of 25 book lovers for our very first meeting. The energy in the room was electric—filled with readers of all ages, eager to dive into stories, connect with one another, and share in something new.

Our First Read: Forget Me Not by Julie Soto

To kick things off, we chose Julie Soto’s enchanting romance, Forget Me Not. Surrounded by flowers, food, and conversation, the book gave us plenty to talk about—love, memory, and the magic of second chances.

More Than Just a Book Club

What made the night so special wasn’t just the book—it was the experience. Guests enjoyed delicious bites, cozy vibes, and even had the chance to create a little floral design to take home. The combination of food, flowers, and storytelling made for an evening to remember.

We were officially sold out for our very first gathering! Seeing strangers become friends over shared stories reminded us exactly why we started this club—to create a welcoming space where people can gather, feel inspired, and connect in meaningful ways.
