Last night, I had the absolute honor of hosting my very first Design Dinner Party at my flower shop, and let me tell you—it was unforgettable. From the moment guests arrived, a palpable buzz of excitement filled the air. I’ve always loved entertaining and creating one-of-a-kind experiences, but combining flower design and a curated dinner was something truly special.
We welcomed an incredible group—friends, couples, flower lovers, and foodies of all kinds. Guests were greeted with handcrafted appetizers and a seasonal salad while mingling in a beautifully lit floral setting. Then, the real magic began. Everyone stood up and made their way into our signature flower room, where I guided them through the process of designing their very own fresh floral arrangement. What happened next was my favorite part: everyone brought their flowers to the table. They dined surrounded by beauty, with flowers they had just created as their centerpiece. We served a delicious main course, followed by a surprise dessert—and yes, the entire experience lasted a dreamy three hours.
We’ve now decided to start the Design Dinner Parties at 6 PM going forward since our guests loved eating earlier and relaxing into the evening.
