This weekend was something truly special.
I had the opportunity to host Barefoot Blooms at Manifest Abundance Ranch, and watching the experience unfold reminded me exactly why I wanted to create this space in the first place.

Barefoot Blooms wasn’t simply a flower workshop. It was an invitation to disconnect from the noise of the outside world, get back into nature, work with our hands, and experience flowers in an entirely different way.
Taking Our Shoes Off and Slowing Down
We spend so much of our lives rushing.
Phones. Emails. Work. Family. Responsibilities. Traffic. Notifications. Schedules.
Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’re carrying until we finally give ourselves permission to put it down.

At Barefoot Blooms, that was the intention.
Come to the ranch.
Take your shoes off.
Feel the earth.
Breathe.
And let the flowers do some of the talking.

We began with a flower meditation, where everyone learned how to quiet the outside noise and intentionally connect with a flower.
Instead of immediately cutting, arranging or designing, we took time to notice.
The color.
The shape.
The texture.
The movement.
The way the flower made us feel.

For me, flowers have never been simply decoration. After more than 30 years of working with them, I continue to see how deeply they can affect our emotions, our environment and the way we connect with ourselves.
That is what I call Flower Energy.
Creating With Nature
After our meditation, everyone began creating.

We made beautiful flower mobiles and floral wreaths, allowing each person to follow their own creativity instead of worrying about making something “perfect.”
That is one of my favorite things about working with flowers.
There isn’t one right answer.
Give ten people the same flowers and you will get ten completely different creations.
Each piece begins carrying a little bit of the person who made it.

And there we were at Manifest Abundance Ranch, surrounded by nature, creating these beautiful masterpieces together.
There was laughter. Conversation. Quiet moments. Creativity.
People slowed down.
They connected.
They made something with their own hands.
And for a little while, the rest of the world could wait.

Flowers, Food & Community
Of course, gathering together also means feeding everyone!
After creating, we shared a delicious BBQ meal together.
There is something incredibly grounding about sitting down after spending time outside and creating with your hands, sharing food and conversation with the people around you.
It transformed the workshop into something more than a class.

It became a gathering.
A little community.
A place where people could simply be present.
Why I Created Barefoot Blooms
When I created Manifest Abundance Ranch, I imagined experiences exactly like this.
I wanted a place where flowers, animals, nature, creativity and people could come together.

Barefoot Blooms is about remembering that sometimes healing doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes you need to put your phone away.
Sometimes you need dirt underneath your feet.
Sometimes you need to sit next to someone you didn’t know before that afternoon.
Sometimes you need to make something beautiful without worrying whether it’s perfect.

And sometimes you simply need flowers.
Watching everyone leave the ranch carrying their handmade floral creations was incredible.
But what I hope they carried home was something even bigger:
A little more peace.
A little more connection.
A little more creativity.
And a reminder to slow down and notice the beauty already growing around us.

Thank you to everyone who came to our very special Barefoot Blooms experience and trusted me to guide you through flowers, meditation and creativity.
This weekend reminded me that Manifest Abundance Ranch is becoming exactly what I hoped it would be: a place to gather, create, reconnect and breathe.
And this is only the beginning.
With flowers and gratitude,
