A Night of Flowers, Connection, and Heart: Hosting the Lion’s Heart Design Dinner in Palos Verdes

Last night was one of those evenings that remind me why I do what I do.

I had the absolute joy of hosting a design dinner party for 25 incredible people from the Lion’s Heart group of Palos Verdes—mothers and sons coming together for what felt like a truly meaningful gathering. It was the final dinner of 2025 for this special group, and the room was filled with warmth, laughter, and connection.

Picture this: a long table set with intention, the moms seated together on one side, the sons on the other—talking, laughing, bonding, and simply being present with one another. There was something so heartwarming about watching the boys connect so naturally, while the moms became fast friends, sharing stories and joy across the table.

After dinner, everyone gathered in my flower room, where the magic truly began. Each mother and son designed small floral arrangements together, choosing blooms, touching flowers, and creating something meaningful side by side. Once finished, they placed their arrangements on the tables—transforming the space into a living, breathing reflection of their creativity and togetherness.

As everyone sat back down to enjoy the evening, the flowers became part of the experience—something they had made, shared, and celebrated together. It was beautiful, grounding, and extraordinary.

I truly loved hosting this party. Events like this remind me that flowers are more than décor—they’re a way to connect, to slow down, and to create memories that last.

If you’re looking to host something fun, memorable, connective, and exciting—whether it’s a design dinner, a private gathering, or a meaningful group experience—I would absolutely love to create it with you.
