A Bath of Flowers, a Moment of Truth, and the Power of Surrounding Yourself with Love

Today I did something a little different — I took a flower bath.

Not to give too much away, but I was experimenting with a new floral contraption — part potion, part essence — something I’m creating for a future project. Let’s just say it had a touch of Halloween magic, but it was more beautiful than spooky. I was surrounded by petals, color, and fragrance, and as I relaxed into the water, I had one of those aha moments that I just had to share with you.

The Aha Moment

As the flowers floated around me, I found myself reflecting on life — my childhood, my purpose, my journey as a mom, and what truly makes us feel whole.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always felt the energy of admiration and love from others. I’ve always looked up to people who were kind, creative, and confident — people who smiled back when I smiled at them. And even though not everyone I admired reflected that same love back to me, I realized something profound:

The ones who do love you, who genuinely celebrate you, are the people who feed your light. They are the reason you keep growing, designing, and believing. That realization was a reminder that energy is everything — who you allow around you shapes how brightly you bloom.

Raising My Son in the World of Flowers

As I sat there in the water, I thought about my son, Jack.

He’s grown up in my flower shop — literally. When he was a baby, customers would hold him while I made bouquets. Now, he’s taller than me, almost fourteen, and so incredibly handsome, smart, and full of heart.

He is my favorite person in the entire world.

I’ve been both his mom and his dad. We’re a team — one that’s built on love, laughter, and hard work. I want him to see that life isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. It’s about showing up, even after the hard days. I want him to see me fall, rise, and rebuild — because strength isn’t about never breaking; it’s about knowing how to bloom again.

The Lesson of the Flowers

Every day, I wake up and remind myself to be the best version of me — to find joy in the morning light, gratitude in the evening, and peace in the petals that surround me.

Flowers remind us that we attract what we exude.
If you radiate kindness, you’ll meet people who mirror it back.
If you lead with love, you’ll attract genuine souls.

So my message today is simple:
• Surround yourself with people who lift you higher.
• Keep those who answer your calls, text you back, and surprise you with thoughtfulness.
• Look in the mirror and tell yourself, “I love you.”
• Be proud of who you are becoming.

The more you do that, the more magnetic your energy becomes — as a friend, a parent, a leader, and a creator.

That’s what flower energy truly means.

Closing Thoughts

As I sat in that flower bath, I realized that love, family, and energy are all connected. Every stem, every petal, every fragrance carries a vibration that reminds us: beauty begins with appreciation.

My son, my shop, my horses, my friends — they’re all part of that circle of light. I’m beyond grateful to live this life filled with flowers, lessons, and love.

And as I continue creating new remedies, potions, and flower-inspired experiences, I hope they remind you — just as they remind me — to bloom bravely and surround yourself with beauty.

Because when you choose love and joy, the universe blooms right along with you.

With love,
